About Rachel
Rachel Rosenthal performs every Saturday night in ImprovBoston's Mainstage. She specializes in long-form & musical improv, & has showcased these talents in numerous festivals including Chicago, San Francisco, Providence, Boston, & Lowell Improv Festivals as well as Chicago Sketch Fest. She has studied with Joe Bill, Asaf Ronen, Zach Ward, Will Luera, & Jill Bernard.
At age thirteen, she became one of the founding cast members of The 1/2 Pint Players with whom she performed sketch & improv for five years in Connecticut & New York. Since moving to Boston, her experience has ranged from doing short-form improv for three years with Improv Foundry to creating & performing a two person musical improv show, Trail Mix, to making live improvised movies with Neutrino Boston.
More recently, Rachel has been working at ImprovBoston, performing in many showcase shows & seasonal productions such as Cabin Pressure, The Holiday Spectacular (2004 & 2009), This Improvised Life, Voice of the White House, Laugh Track, Ladley & Craig, & GoreFest! III, IV & V. She was a cast member in IB's weekly TheatreSports show from 2005 - 2007, before moving into the Mainstage. Rachel minored in theater at Ithaca College & has also been seen in many musicals, showcasing her singing talents & infamous jazz hands.
